A) He'd stop doing (whatever thing he does that annoys you/frightens you/ seems to persist despite your best efforts)

B) He'd do more of (whatever thing he does that make you smile and call him "Good Dog!").

When you went to the animal shelter or breeder to pick out your beloved dog, you had a vision in mind of what it would be like to live with a dog. Maybe you dreamed of having a dog just like the one you had in your childhood or just like your last dog. I'm willing to bet you got a dog after you realized you wanted another kind of emotionally enriching relationship in your life. No one gets a dog just that they can have more responsibility and less joy in their lives. They want an affectionate, well behaved canine companion.

But somehow.... you feel something is not quite right and you're not sure if you're living with "man's best friend" or a furry (but cute) alien.

I want to get to the heart of your original vision so I can help you make that your reality.

I want you to experience what it's like to not have a "but" at the end of the sentence -"I love my dog!"

I want to help you take your good dog and make him GREAT!

Maybe you've taken your dog to obedience classes but she still steals food from the table, or knocks the kids over or digs thru the trash. Despite your best efforts at training your dog to do what you want, you feel far away from living with your dream dog and that "training just doesn't work".

You'd be partially right. Reword that to say "JUST training doesn't work" and I'd whole heartedly agree with you.

That's where I come in.

 

Learn to Speak Pawsitively

It's all about seeing the "bigger picture"- from both the human and canine perspective.

Think of me as your Canine Communication Counselor. I will listen to you and your dog and translate what each of you are really saying to each other. I will teach you a more effective way to communicate and move you closer to your goal. My methods and philosophy are based in science and research but you won't get a high brow lecture from me. Just like if you were to walk into a psychologists office and hand him a list of your bad habits, he's there to help you perceive what's really going on and help you to change them.

After going through the Great Pawsibilities Program, you will feel empowered and have the tools you need to take you and your dog to GREATness.

My private lessons consist of basic household manners and obedience, plus I specialize in Therapy Dog Work.
